Chemisode Video Hub provides chemistry explanations, videos and quizzes to support teaching and learning. It does not replace official curriculum documents, professional advice or teacher judgement.

Content is provided for general educational use by students and teachers. Chemisode learning summaries are independently written and may be aligned with VCE Chemistry, but they are not official VCAA wording and Chemisode is not affiliated with or endorsed by VCAA.
Accuracy and errors
Reasonable care is taken to make the chemistry accurate and useful. However, errors, omissions, outdated information or differences in accepted classroom conventions may occur. Users should check important information against current official curriculum documents, reliable references and their teacher's instructions.
To the extent permitted by law, Chemisode is not responsible for loss, assessment outcomes or other consequences arising from reliance on an error or omission in the Video Hub.
Practical and laboratory safety
Experiment videos and demonstrations are educational examples, not permission to reproduce an activity without supervision. Practical work must be planned and supervised by a suitably qualified teacher or responsible adult using an appropriate risk assessment, safety data, personal protective equipment, local policies and suitable facilities.
Do not perform an experiment solely because it appears in a Chemisode video.
Assessment and curriculum decisions
Quiz feedback, progress indicators and suggested learning outcomes are support tools. They do not guarantee a result and should not be treated as the sole basis for assessment, grading, subject selection or curriculum compliance.
The official VCAA website and a student's school remain the authoritative sources for current VCE requirements and assessment arrangements.
External services and links
The Video Hub includes YouTube videos and links to external websites. Chemisode does not control the availability, content, privacy practices or later changes made by those external services. A link does not imply endorsement unless this is expressly stated.
Availability and changes
Features, videos, quiz content and mappings may be corrected, replaced or removed. Chemisode does not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every browser, network or external provider will always operate without error.
Rights that cannot be excluded
Nothing on this page is intended to exclude any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Australian law.
